Asset Manager is Smart Platform's cross-platform application (web, desktop and mobile PWA) for managing the complete lifecycle of an organization's assets — from acquisition to retirement — with full traceability of every action.

How are assets identified?

Assets are identified by QR code, barcode and RFID, plus proximity-based geographic search with configurable radius or zones. RFID-based implementations reach 99% inventory accuracy, like the 10,000+ tagged assets managed across 5 logistics warehouses in Panama.

How is Asset Manager priced?

Monthly subscription per asset, with tiered cumulative pricing that scales with volume. The minimum is 100 assets. You can configure modules and request a quote at smartplatform.ai/acquire.

Does Asset Manager work offline?

Yes. It has an offline mode: field teams can create and manage tasks without connectivity and everything syncs automatically on reconnect. It is the only Smart Platform module with offline operation.

What task types does it manage?

Five types: incidents (urgent), planned tasks with configurable frequency (once, daily, weekly, monthly, annual), reservations with conflict detection, asset-to-user assignments and custody transfers — all with configurable approval workflows.

Does it integrate with the other Smart Platform modules?

Yes. It integrates natively with Insight Monitor: assets can be linked to IoT devices to display real-time data, and an Insight Monitor rule can automatically change an asset's status when it fires or a device disconnects.
