What is Urban Monitor in Smart Platform?

Urban Monitor is Smart Platform's citizen engagement module: a PWA app (mobile, web, desktop) for two-way communication between organizations and their communities — incident reporting, news and alerts, emergency buttons and citizen proposals.

How does the panic button work?

The SOS button has a 3-second timer; if not cancelled it sends an urgent alert to Event Manager and shares the user's GPS location periodically until an operator handles the alert. There is also a reverse panic mode and a preventive alert mode.

How is Urban Monitor priced?

Monthly subscription per user, with tiered cumulative pricing. The minimum is 100 users. Quote at smartplatform.ai/acquire.

What can citizens report?

Occurrences of configurable types with custom fields, photos, location, optional approval workflow, ratings and comments. Approved occurrences can automatically generate alerts in Event Manager.

Does it support voice calls?

Yes. Real-time voice calls between citizens and available operators: all available operators are notified simultaneously and the first to accept takes the call.
